What mAh mean in Smartphone batteries?

Imagine our phone batteries are the most important parts of the phone. Phone is death, seeing as nothing can happen without it. It is made off lithium-ion technological remains unknown to many phone users.

Have you ever observed? That phone batteries are marked with 3000mAh, 4000mAh etc. The mAh means the capacity/power of that battery. The A is capitalized because, under the International System of Units, “ampere” is always represented with a capital A. The term mAh is for “milliampere hour,” and it’s a way to express the electrical capacity of smaller batteries.

With larger batteries, like car batteries, we usually use ampere hours, or Ah. There are 1000 mAh in a single Ah. More the mAh means longer battery capacity and life, store more energy.

Example;- 1. A 4000mAh battery could power a device drawing 100mA for 40 hours.

2. A 3000mAh battery could power a device drawing 100mAh for 30 hours or 200mA for 15 hours.
