Imagine
our phone batteries are the most important parts of the phone. Phone is death,
seeing as nothing can happen without it. It is made off lithium-ion technological remains unknown to many phone users.
Have you ever observed? That phone batteries are marked with 3000mAh,
4000mAh etc. The mAh means the capacity/power of that battery. The A is capitalized because, under the International
System of Units, “ampere” is always represented with a capital A. The term mAh
is for “milliampere hour,” and it’s a way to express the
electrical capacity of smaller batteries.
With larger batteries, like
car batteries, we usually use ampere hours, or Ah. There are 1000 mAh in a
single Ah. More the mAh means longer battery capacity and life, store more
energy.
Example;- 1. A 4000mAh battery could
power a device drawing 100mA for 40 hours.
2. A 3000mAh battery could power a
device drawing 100mAh for 30 hours or 200mA for 15 hours.
