It is an infectious disease caused by the monkeypox virus. Primates are initial carriers. Virus is mainly found in the tropical forest of central and west Africa. symptoms shows after 10 days from exposure.
How it transmit????
1. Spread both from animal to human and from human to animal.
2. Direct contact or by animal bite.
3. Infected body fluids from animals/humans.
Symptoms:-
1. High fever and High temperature.
2. Headache.
3. Muscle pains
4. Feeling tired
5. Swollen glands
Care/Treatment:-
No such particular treatment is available till date. Vaccination against smallpox is assumed to be effective and safe. The risk of death of infected person is upto 10%.
