Scientists
believe there are four fundamental forces of nature.
1. 1. Gravity or
Gravitational force.
2. 2. Electricity and magnetism are
called electromagnetic forces.
3. 3. To hold a core of atoms together
is a strong nuclear force.
4. 4. The Force
involved in breaking them apart is involved in some types of radiation this is
the weak nuclear force.
Together
these forces explain how the world works everything from why the sun shines to why
things fall over.
By
smashing atoms together scientists create smaller subatomic particles they
found that one of them is called a muon. It behaves in ways that can't be
explained by the current theory and they think that this could be because of
the fifth force of nature
Which
could be completely new for the scientists. If they find it. It'll be a huge
deal because it could explain some of the mysteries that have been baffling
astronomers for some time such as why galaxies spin faster than they should or
why stars and planets and everything on them including us exist at all. They
haven't got conclusive proof yet the evidence is growing what does the fifth
force do well. Scientists are not sure but if they find it the current theory
will have to be rewritten and it'll be the start of a new exciting era of
scientific discovery
